What You Need To Participate In This Challenge!

What You Need To Participate In This Challenge! ✳
Between 10 & 15 Poles
No shorter than 2.4m but preferred 3m or more.
AND… of course you need a horse! This is a ridden challenge.. so not suitable for horses only doing ground work.
You will need 10 to 15 poles, 2.4m to 3.6m long. 3m or 3.6m poles are easier to school. Your 2.4m just require a little more thought when setting out patterns and require the rider to ride a more accurate line.
You will also need a tape measure, 8 blocks (things to raise the poles off the ground slightly). You can use jump wings so long as they have settings to hang cups no higher than 10cm off the ground.

As stated above, you will need between 10 and 15 poles. It is possible to adapt patterns for less poles but for the true benefits of the challenge you want to have a minimum of 10 and ideally 15.

No. This challenge is designed for ridden horses and the patterns wont all work for in hand training.
